Why we built this
SAY HI has always been about one simple thing: meeting people offline, in real life, by showing up for something you actually enjoy doing. UNBLOCK is that idea applied to your creative work: eight dedicated days in the Cornish countryside, writing alongside other people instead of alone at your kitchen table. You don't need to already call yourself a writer, just a project you've been meaning to start or finish, a novel, poetry, a play, a Substack, or something you haven't named yet. No lectures, no craft workshops, no one telling you how to write. Come with a project, come with a question. Leave with pages.
Sage
How to UNBLOCK
Daily workshops
Sage and Marie lead structured sessions every morning to get you unstuck, find your angle, and move forward.
Writing time
Dedicated hours every day to make real progress on your project. No interruptions, no agenda.
Group feedback
Read, share, respond. A small group giving each other honest, generative feedback.
Meditation
A short guided practice to quiet the noise and access the part of you that already knows what to write.
Inspired by nature
Long walks through the Cornish countryside, feeding the animals, fresh air between sessions. Ideas move differently outdoors.
Time to restore
Hot tub, sauna, indoor pool. Real rest between real work.
Your hosts
Founder of SAY HI Club, an offline community for solo millennials. Years of experience running events, workshops and retreats. At UNBLOCK, she designs and leads the daily workshops.
Her coming-of-age novel was published in 2026. As a coach, she developed the Heart Answers® method, helping 300+ people reignite their creativity.
Sandra and Marie met at Froomies Co-Living, hit it off, and found they'd both been sitting on unfinished projects. They founded the Froomies Writers Club. Watching the group unblock each other week after week, the idea to bring that to more people became impossible to ignore. That's where UNBLOCK was born.
